You know Solvang is famous for its amazing Danish foods & sweets; and there is so much more cuisine to explore here with over 30 restaurants and gourmet foods shops. Yet this Saturday (5/17/14) from Noon-4:00 p.m. at Old Mission Santa Ines fields, you can experience the first-ever Macaroni & Cheese Festival! Oh yes, that yummy comfort food will be served from 12+ chefs in one-ounce samples accompanied by tastes of local wines, beers and sides of live bands– The Brothers Comatose and The California Honeydrops.
It’s all for a great non-profit cause—Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals® raise funds and awareness and provide 32 million treatments each year to kids across the U.S. and Canada. Donations stay local—which means our own Santa Ynez Valley Hospital (part of Cottage Health System) will benefit. General admission tickets are $55; $45 if you live in the 805 area code; and $30 if you’re military or law enforcement. (Ages 21 & over only please.) Tickets are available at the gate or in advance.
