July 4th Parade, BBQ, Festival & Fireworks!

SolvangIndependenceDay2009--189Celebrate USA Independence Day this Saturday, July 4th with some fun festivities right here!  You don’t want to miss the traditional parade that steps/rolls/canters/strolls along Mission & Copenhagen Drives starting from the Old Mission at 11:00 a.m.–presented by the Solvang Breakfast Rotary Club followed by a BBQ at Solvang Park. This year’s theme is “Star Spangled Salute.” At 2:00 p.m., gates open at Old Mission Santa Ines (1760 Mission Drive) for the 21st Annual Solvang Independence Day Festival & Fireworks Show sponsored by Rotary Club of the Santa Ynez Valley. Admission is only $8.00 per adult; and FREE for children ages 5 and under, as well as FREE for active duty military and their immediate family members with ID.

All proceeds benefit local charities. Family Fun: Free Movies in the Park Start This Friday, 6/12/15

Free Movies in Solvang Park (Mission Drive & First Street) are happening starting this Friday, June 12 (Big Hero 6); and also on June 26, July 10, July 24, August 7 and August 21. Grab your blankets, low-back lawn chairs and settle in! The pre-show begins at 7:30 p.m. and the featured flick (rated G or PG or PG13) starts as soon as darkness allows. Popcorn and hot chocolate are available for purchase. Or stop by one of our five authentic Danish bakeries for some sweet treats. Stars in the Sky and On the Stage! PCPA Theater Begins 6/11/15

PCPA My Fair Lady in Solvang 2015In the heart of downtown Solvang, you’ll discover Solvang Festival Theater, an outdoor 700-seat venue in the half-round hosting marvelous live concerts, plays, musicals and comedies.
